  • UDesign: Recent Posts – Display the most recent posts with teaser text, author, and date information (optional). You also have the option to offset the displayed recent articles from the most recent one, for example, to omit the first 2 or 3 most recent posts. Furthermore, the widget allows you to pick a certain category as well as all of its descendants. Each post’s word count should be kept to a minimum. Auto-generate thumbnails and show thumbnail frame shadow if desired. Thumbnails can be any size and height. I’ve also included a shortcode version of this widget, which may be used everywhere in the content, not only widget sections. Here’s an illustration.
  • Login Form (U-Design) - Displays the login form in the sidebar. Users can log in and log out directly from the sidebar, bypassing the traditional WordPress login page.
  • UDesign: Custom Category widget — displays a single category, as well as all of its child categories. This is useful for areas of the website like the Portfolio or Blog/News, where you would want to filter the categories displayed in the sidebar to be more relevant to the current section.
  • Google Map - UDesign To display Google Maps in the sidebar, copy and paste your Google Maps code.
  • UDesign: Subpages — Shows the offspring pages of the current page. The parent’s name appears as the title. If you have a lot of pages that would typically take up too much space in the sidebar, you can use this widget to display a much shorter version of the menu in the sidebar that only shows the pages that are descendent of the current page.

  • Portfolios that can be sorted and filtered by category or label as well as alphabetically and in ascending/descending order.
